Questa Base introduces the innovative Qrun flow, designed to enhance compilation turnaround times and streamline simulation runs. Qrun acts as a unified “wrapper” that automatically selects the correct VHDL, SystemC, or SystemVerilog compiler and optimizer based on your command line inputs. It efficiently distributes source files to the relevant compilers and directs the appropriate switches to the right tools, eliminating the need for you to determine which tool corresponds to each switch or source file.

Visualizer is included and offers a complete debugging solution designed to accelerate bug identification. With an enhanced waveform window and powerful features like driver/receiver tracing, advanced search capabilities, Finite State Machine (FSM) debugging with cross-probing, smart hierarchical flattening in schematics, schematic exploration, biometric search, and more, Visualizer makes root-cause analysis faster and more efficient.
