(hereinafter “the association”), a company belonging to the Var Group S.p.A., with its head office in Via Derna, 26 - 20132 Milan - VAT number 02989490368, desires to inform you that your personal data will be processed in accordance with current legislation on the processing of personal data.
In particular, the association acts as a “data processor”, meaning “the natural or legal person, public authority, service or other body which alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of processing personal data”.
Please note that a data controller is defined as “the natural or legal person, public authority, service or other body that processes personal data on behalf of the data processor”.
“Processing of personal data” means “any operation which is performed upon personal data, whether or not by automatic means, such as collection, recording, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction”.
Specifically, the processing of your personal data may be carried out by individuals authorized by the association.
This information is provided to you in consideration of your status as an “interested subject”, meaning the natural person to whom the personal data relates.
- Personal data subject to processing
The personal data to be processed may include, in particular, biographical data, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses, information on education and previous work experience, information on specific skills and abilities, pictures of you, and any further information you provide in your curriculum vitae.
Personal data belonging to the “special categories of personal data” referred to in Article 9 of the EU Regulation may also be processed. The aforementioned category includes personal data capable of revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, as well as genetic data, biometric data intended to uniquely identify a natural person, and data concerning a person’s health or sexual orientation.
- Purpose and legal ground of personal data processing
Your personal data is provided directly by registering tn the recruiting platform in order to allow you to create your professional profile and transmit your curriculum vitae spontaneously or for the purpose of applying for a specific open position.
Furthermore, your personal data is processed for the purpose of assessing your application, contacting you for a possible interview, and carrying out any further activity necessary for the execution of selection procedures aimed at eventual recruitment or collaboration with the association, in compliance with the principle of equality among candidates, which imposes the prohibition of discrimination between genders in accordance with the "Code of Equal Opportunity between men and women" and Law No. 183 dated November 4, 2010.
In this case, the association will process your personal data in order to implement the pre-contractual measures taken at your request and aimed at the possible establishment of an employment or collaboration relationship; your consent is therefore not required.
Please note that the association does not require, in the fields of registration and creation of the professional profile, the submission of personal data belonging to the “special categories of data” referred to in Article 9 of the EU Regulation; therefore, the possible indication of such data in your curriculum vitae is considered spontaneous and the relevant processing is carried out on the basis of your consent.
The processing of such personal data is carried out in compliance with the modalities and limits defined by current legislation on the processing of personal data, as well as in accordance with the regulations of the Italian Data Protection Authority and, in particular, General Authorization No. 1/2016 on the processing of sensitive data in employment relationships.
Please note that consent to the processing of personal data may be revoked at any time; this shall not affect the legality of processing carried out prior to the revocation.

The processing may be carried out by means of IT, telematic, or printed media in compliance with the regulations guaranteeing security and confidentiality, as well as, among other things, the accuracy, updating, and relevance of the personal data to the declared purposes.
The personal data collected will be stored in electronic and/or paper files at the registered and/or operating offices of the association or at the registered/operating offices of SeSa S.p.A.
Your personal data is stored for the time necessary to manage any activity required for the company’s recruitment and selection process and, in any case, for no longer than 12 months after collection; after this period, your personal data will be deleted. The association reserves the right to contact you prior to cancellation in order to assess the permanence of your interest in the continuation of the processing of your personal data for the sole purposes identified in this notice.
- Nature of providing personal data
Providing personal data is optional, however, refusal prevents you from registering on the recruiting platform, with the resulting impossibility of continuing with the creation of your professional profile, sending your CV, or applying for open positions; consequently, the disclosure of your personal data is “obligatory” in order to fulfill the specific request.
- Recipients of personal data
Within the limits of the purposes indicated in this notice, your personal data may be disclosed in fulfillment of a legal obligation, regulation, or EU legislation.
In particular, your personal data may be communicated to Public Safety Authorities, Public Entities, or companies of a private nature for the fulfillment of legal obligations.

Personal data will not be transferred outside the territory of the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA).
Personal data will not be disclosed to the public.
